Celebrate RIO 2016 With MarieLine’s New Electro-Pop Track BEM-VINDOS AO BRASIL

From France to NYC, MarieLine (sounds like Marilyn) has been around the world, literally and figuratively. She left her native city of Nice in her teens to pursue acting and modeling throughout Europe, always a notebook at hand to write down her first songs. While in Paris, the young actress fell into a role providing vocals for a beat maker.  After a stint in Los Angeles and finally settling in New York City, MarieLine channeled her breadth of life experiences, with all their joys and sorrows, into music that resonates both on a visceral and intellectual level. Her song themes range from self-esteem to anti-bullying as well as resilience in the face of hardship, always honest and unfiltered. WATCH FULL RIO 2016 DANCE VIDEO HERE

Her most recent track, “Bem-Vindos Ao Brasil,” is also the soundtrack to her other Rio-themed initiative, The Rio Dance Challenge. Similar to last year’s viral Ice Bucket Challenge, this video prompt asks the public to post a simple dance video to raise awareness for Right To Play, a charitable organization that inspires and encourages underprivileged children through sports and play. The campaign aims to raise $10,000 by the end of this year’s Olympics, so show us your moves!

Be sure to make time to check out MarieLine’s latest single, “Bem-Vindos Ao Brasil,” a brand new original song written for Rio 2016!
