KITE BASE (feat Ayse Hassan/Savages) release NiN cover (track/video)

Kite Base ( are Ayse Hassan (bass, noise) and Kendra Frost (bass, vocals, electronics), a UK-based electronic duo blending pop craft with organic noise. They’ve just released a new single/video, a cover of “Something I Can Never Have,” from Nine Inch Nails’ debut album (

“Kite Base” is one of the main starting points found in origami, an opening move made with simple folds to generate a firm and fertile foundation for creativity. It can become whatever you want it to be – simple or complex – based on the imagination of the creator, inspiration and chance.

Also available now is a pre-order for limited-edition 7″ vinyl of a new single, “Soothe” b/w “Dadum”: Kite Base’s debut album is due in early 2017.
