Minna Choi, one of the Bay Area’s most prolific musicians, began the Magik*Magik Orchestra in 2008, for whom she still writes, arranges and conducts. With early praise for Choi‘s work from the likes of Wired, NPR Music, and 7×7 (who called Choi one of their 40 Under 40), her orchestra has toured North America with Death Cab For Cutie, recorded the score to the films Looper andthe Oscar-nominated short The Dam Keeper, released an album with acclaimed artist John Vanderslice, and much much more.
“Laugh a Lot” is Magik*Magik‘s first release as a solo artist, and is highly anticipated amongst people in the know. Don’t miss this one, and stay tuned for more……
