The Heirs premiere new video

Lungs,” the new video from The Heirs’ forthcoming album, premieres via Idolator, who say the track is “a fantastically wistful gem…laden with airy guitars and propulsive drums, the song invokes a sense of endless euphoria with every listen.” See the post HERE and share HERE. Of the track, Brandon Hudson notes, “[it’s] a song that feels very ethereal but still very powerful. It’s one of our favorites to play live and we wanted to capture that in the video. There are so many ambient, moving, wavey sounds, and we like to push the energy and bring out the electricity within the song’s live band aesthetic specifically.” Following shows at SXSW and tour dates with The Big Pink, The Heirs are in the midst of playing a full lineup of summer shows on the 2016 Vans Warped Tour. MTV said they’re one of the “Top 12 Bands to See on Warped” and NPR included the band in their “SXSW 100 Playlist.” See below for a full list of dates.

The Heirs features Brandon Hudson (lead vocals/guitar), Savannah Hudson (lead vocals), Alex Flagstad (guitar), Eian McNeely (bass/keys) and Brennan Benko (drums). The band’s name can be traced “to a mutual dream where the youth are heirs of the world, inheriting everything the adults leave behind.” This vision defines the music that the band creates in their debut EP Ecliptic and their forthcoming 2016 full length.
