Colorado Indie/Folk Artist Cameron Bailey Debuts ‘A Boy & His Guitar’ EP

Boy & His Guitar is just that. Just a boy and his guitar. Despite pleas from his sound engineer and manager, Cameron insisted on recording each song all in one take. And it’s because of this natural recording process as well as his inhibited playing style that he manages to remind listeners of musics raw power.

Upon first listen, you’d never be able to tell Cameron Bailey was only 21 years young. His charmingly haggard voice and vivid stories shine through in tracks like the heartbreaking “The Rain Before The Storm” and it’s sequel “The Storm.”While the salacious “Cold Sheets” illuminates Cameron‘s unabashed emotion. The undeniably infectious “Oh Jordan” and“Lullaby For A Dog” on the other hand proves just how catchy Cameron‘s indie/folk tunes can be.

Born in Chicago, IL, but now living in Boulder, CO, Cameron has been creating music since grade school, playing guitar and saxophone. It wasn’t until 2015 though that he began to share his Indie-Folk infused tunes with the world. Influenced by the likes of The Band, Bon Iver, and Glenn Hansard, Cameron‘s unique modern creations, charmingly consisting of nothing but his voice and guitar, maintain a certain degree of nostalgia.
