The release of the title track follows the announcement of Cherub’s extensive three month, 50-date, fall ‘Bleed Gold’ tour. Tickets are on sale now, click here to buy! Every online ticket purchase comes with one digital pre-order of Cherub’s upcoming album. The tour kicks off on September 6 in Tuscaloosa, AL. The tour will continue to highlight the band’s full four-piece live setup, featuring producer Nick Curtis on drums and longtime friend Jordan Bartlett on guitar and keys. L.A. based electro pop duo FRENSHIP and Australian electronic/hip-hop duo, Boo Seeka will open on the cross country trek.
Cherub’s new album, Bleed Gold, Piss Excellence is the follow-up to their Columbia Records debut, Year of the Caprese. The album’s breakout single “Doses and Mimosas” climbed to the top of The Hype Machine charts, while landing concurrently on Billboard’s Rock Airplay and Alternative Songs charts. Four tracks from the album cracked Spotify’s Viral Top 50, including the song “Strip to This” landing at #1 on the Viral chart.
“We’re back on the road this fall with our live band, playing songs from our entire catalogue,” the band remarks about the tour. “It’s super exciting to get to debut the new music out in front of real live people, after being locked away in a dark studio for so long!”
In addition to their online viral success, the duo has been known for fun, full throttle shows, with successful sold-out nationwide tours. They have also been mainstays on the festival circuit including Bonnaroo, Glastonbury, Austin City Limits, Governor’s Ball, and many others. Cherub will be performing this Friday July 29th at 4:45p on the Bud Light stage at Lollapalooza in Chicago, IL!
