INTERVIEW: TrxlleyDxdgers

-Hi guys, welcome to VENTS! How have you been?

I’ve been really well. How are you?

-Can you talk to us more about your latest single “Lunch Box”?

I sure can. You just ask me anything!

-Did any event in particular inspired you to write this song?

No not really. Other than just a good idea hitting you all of a sudden. It’s one of those things where you just sit back and let the idea evolve through you. If that makes any sense.

-Any plans to release a video for the single?

It all depends on if we can get a budget for one. But I actually hate making videos because it’s a lot of “hurry up and wait” mentality and it just seems to take forever to get one little shot. But I do know they’re important so I’ll just have to tough it out and hurry up and wait!

-How was the recording and writing process?

Writing seemed to go pretty swimmingly, again you just need to sort of let the idea develop naturally and not force it too much. As for recording goes it was all done in my studio in Cincinnati and I believe that song was re-recorded twice. Other than that it went pretty smoothly as well.

-How have your previous musical background influenced this new project? Or is this a total departure?

One thing I was able to take away from Foxy was song writing ability and how to capture an idea. Working with several different producers over the years teaches you a thing or two about song writing and recording. I’m just doing what I think sounds good and not worry about anything else.

-Does the new single mean we can expect a new album soon? How’s that coming along?

It does! Can’t really say when though.

-Any tentative release date or title in mind?

Nope. It’s too early for that.

-Any plans to hit the road for a full US tour?

We’re looking to do a full US this winter actually.

-What else is happening next in TrxlleyDxdgers’ world?

Same ol same ol. Writing , tour, writing, tour, tour, pictures, tour, writing, break.
