OPETH RELEASES FIRST STUDIO BLOG FOR, ‘SORCERESS’

Swedish experimental heavy-rock pioneers OPETH have released a new video blog, “Studio Report – Episode 1,” ahead of their upcoming release of Sorceress, which will debut on September 30th via the band’s imprint label Moderbolaget Records with Nuclear Blast Entertainment.

In the new video, OPETH vocalist and guitarist Mikael Åkerfeldt gives an in-depth tour of Rockfield Studios in Wales during the recording/production process of their 12th studio album, Sorceress. Subsequent videos will be released in the coming weeks and will give fans an inside looking at the making of one of the year’s most dynamic and anticipated heavy rock releases.

OPETH will return to North America this fall for a headline tour, which will kick off with a performance at Ozzfest/Knotfest on September 24th in San Bernardino, CA. The excursion will continue with special guest The Sword through the following month before wrapping up on October 26th in Vancouver, BC.
