LOLAWOLF – comprised of Zoe Kravitz and Jimmy Giannopoulos – has released their first new music since 2015: a slinky, enigmatic alt-pop gem called “Teardrop,” which features a guest turn by LOLAWOLF friend Miley Cyrus. Cyrus, who invited the band to open the Australian leg of her 2014 tour, previously appeared in the video for the LOLAWOLF song “Bitch.”
“Teardrop” — produced by Giannopoulos — was heralded as Zane Lowe’s World Record yesterday, July 19th, on his Beats 1 show. The band spoke with Lowe about the track and other new music in their first interview of 2016; click HERE to listen to it.
The song is now available via all streaming services.
Following an acclaimed set at this year’s Bonnaroo, LOLAWOLF will make select appearances at this year’s Lollapalooza, Full Moon Festival, and Meadows Music Festival. Dates are:
7/30/16 Chicago, IL @ Lollapalooza
8/20/16 New York, NY @ Full Moon Festival
10/1/16 New York, NY @ Meadows Music Festival
