The summer’s most anticipated metal mash up performance – featuring pop metal icons BABYMETAL and Judas Priest’s legendary vocalist Rob Halford – took place last night at the third annual Journey’s Alternative Press Music Awards, Fueled by Monster Energy. The performance, which featured BABYMETAL’s SU-METAL and Halford’s dueling vocals on Judas Priest classics “Painkiller” and “Breaking The Law”, saw the meeting of the “Fox God” and the “Metal God”.
This year, the Journeys Alternative Press Music Awards, Fueled by Monster Energy Drink took place in Columbus, Ohio – celebrating its third iteration with a night of special guests and electrifying music that transcended generations of music fans. The third annual APMAs took place last night (July 18, 2016) at the Schottenstein Center, located on the campus of Ohio State University. As in both years past, #APMAS trended worldwide on Twitter and Facebook.
