Nine Pound Shadow Shares New Single “Bridges” EP This Fall On 30th Century Records‏

Berkeley, CA-based Nine Pound Shadow have shared a new single “Bridges.”  Asa Taccone (who produced the band’s single “Melody”) joined HAIM on their Beats 1 radio show for Apple Music to debut the track. Listen to the full episode here. Taccone produced this track as well.

Nine Pound Shadow is brothers Breandain and Christopher Langlois.  Their debut single “Melody” caught the attention of Danger Mouse who included the song on last year’s 30th Century Records, Volume 1 compilation and signed the band to the label.
The duo’s austere pop – dirty yet majestic (think The Zombies) possesses a romantic lilt. There’s a lightness to the scuzz, and an undeniable buzz as knotty guitars and hissing acoustics make for an era-transcending missive.

Nine Pound Shadow will be releasing an EP later this Fall.  Look for Nine Pound Shadow Tour Dates this Fall as well.
