Describing her music as ‘perfect imperfection,’ British/ Sierra Leone Afrobeat artist Yasmin Kadi is proud to debut her new single ‘Go Down Low’ featuring Island Records’ rising star Moelogo and produced by SOS (Emeli Sande, Wretch 32, Ariana Grande). Watch here.
Detailing the inspiration behind the new single, Yasmin explains that, “There is a lot of pressure in society to look and be a certain way, especially for women. We get judged a lot, we are expected to be pictures of perfections and fit into the ideals that is projected through our screens daily. So I basically wanted to say (in a fun way), let’s just let go and have fun. Don’t conform and don’t worry about being judged. Just be you!”
