Music video’s hidden message has fans texting quesoblanco‏

You may be familiar with Quaker City Night Hawks’ animated “Mockingbird” video, released last month, but what you may not know is that upon close inspection of the video, you’ll see a billboard with instructions to text “quesoblanco” to 313131. Anyone who does that will instantly receive a link via text that includes a URL and a password “quesoblanco.” Fans will then gain access to a page where they can sign up to receive MP3s of “Mockingbird” and “Queso Blanco,” which is a song that’s not included on the album.

Directed by Charlie Terrell and illustrated by Charlo Nocete, the “Mockingbird” video adds its own inspiration to the mix, nodding to the 1981 film ‘Heavy Metal’ along the way. The track is from the band’s ‘El Astronauta,’ released May 20 via Lightning Rod Records. You can watch the full video here: http://bit.ly/QCNH_quesoblanco
