The Orphan The Poet Releases New Music Video‏

Alternative rock band, The Orphan The Poet, recently released their new music video for “Terrible Things”. WATCH HERE.

The video is an incredibly well-done horror spoof featuring cheesy effects, fake guts, video games and robots. Frontman/guitarist David Eselgroth, explains, “When I was a kid, I was never allowed to play violent video games. So naturally when we do an arcade inspired video, it’s going to have tons of lasers and guts. Sorry, Mom.”

“Terrible Things” is the title track from The Orphan The Poet’s brand new EP, which was released on June 3rd.

Based out of Dayton, OH, The Orphan The Poet come bearing their intense brand of take-it-or-leave-it alt rock, full of sing-along hooks and charging guitars. Cutting their teeth on tours with bands like Dance Gavin Dance, Conditions, I The Mighty and more, The Orphan The Poet have been rabidly gaining fans thanks to their captivating live show, even grabbing theattention of legendary producers. Garnering comparisons to iconic acts like Jimmy Eat World and Taking Back Sunday, the band will hit this summer hard with their new EP, Terrible Things.
