Cardiknox Get “Wild” in New Video, On Tour Now with Phoebe Ryan‏

Indie-pop duo Cardiknox have shared the official music video for new single “Wild Child” off their debut album Portrait. The video, directed by David Kalani Larkins, reflects the song’s themes of independence and rebelling against the norm, following Cardiknox’s Lonnie Angle and Thomas Dutton “behind-the-scenes” as they make four mini music videos in one. The “Wild Child” video premiered today via Entertainment Weekly, who loves the “chaotic” video with its costume changes, puppets made to look like the band, and even some trips to the dunk tank. Check it out below.

Cardiknox just kicked off their co-headline tour with Phoebe Ryan last night in DC, and are bringing “The Boyz N Poizn Tour” to 14 more cities across the U.S. throughout July, including tonight’s sold out gig at the Bowery Ballroom in New York. See below for a full list of dates, with all details and tickets available at

The Seattle-born, LA-based duo have earned high praise from the likes of NYLON, Pigeons & Planes, Vogue, Paste, Idolator, MTV, and more for their ’80s-inspired synth pop stylings since bursting out with their debut album Portrait. Cardiknox have played with Bleachers, Betty Who, The Knocks, and Carly Rae Jepsen, and performed at Lollapalooza, Sasquatch, Firefly, Bonnaroo, and even Reading and Leeds festivals in the UK last fall.
