Hot off the back of releasing their new EP ‘Else’ for Topshelf Records / Dine Alone, revved- up Montreal trio Solids return to the UK for shows in support of PUP, showcasing new material that serves as a melancholic deconstruction of the ’90s slacker ethos explored on their acclaimed debut LP ‘Blame Confusion’. They begin on August 29th their first UK run as a fully-fledged three-piece, pedalling a wider and more experimental sound that borrows strands from Dinosaur Jr., Hum and Unwound, coiling them into an anxious, alienated sound that’s all their own.
