Pronounced “Bryce”, the 25 year old producer based in South-East London has produced, written and played for a number of artists and bands, with his work picking up support from BBC Introducing, BBC 6 and Radio 1 along the way. More recently, he has turned his attention to developing his own sound. Having spent time between both electronic and live projects, his music explores the possibilities of contemporary production techniques whilst retaining an appreciation of conventional musicianship and songwriting. The distinctive blend of guitar and other organic elements, with its backbone of electronic production, provides the perfect medium for straight-up hooks and rhythms. Listen here.
Brijs’ debut EP “Friends” premiered at the end of 2015 and went on to be included in the first iteration of Spotify’s Fresh Finds playlist. He now returns with his second release “Thunder“ and B-side “October”. “Thunder” has already been made single of the week on Abbie McCarthy’s BBC Kent Introducing show.
