TOKiMONSTA Joins Duran Duran’s The Paper Gods Tour; LA Producer Set for KCRW Summer Nights, Outside Lands, More‏

Los Angeles producer TOKiMONSTA has announced extensive summer tour dates with legendary UK band Duran Duran on The Paper Gods Tour with CHIC featuring Nile Rodgers. The dates are in support of her latest album Fovere, out now on her Young Art imprint, and are in addition to previously announced headline dates with Ambré and festival appearances including Panorama, Outside Lands & Bumbershoot. TOKi has also teamed up with Leafly–the world’s cannabis information resource, making the process of finding the right strains and products for you fast, simple, and comfortable—for her summer tour. See her full tour routing below and ticket info here.

“Wound Up (feat. a l l i e)” is the latest single from Fovere featuring Toronto-based singer Allie. The track follows the release of the “gauzy and haunted, pretty and sad” (The FADER) song “Giving Up” feat. Jonny Piece of The Drums, and the album’s “explosive” (The FADER) first single “Put It Down,” featuring 2016 breakthrough singer & rapper Anderson .Paak and Bay Area producer KRNE. Known for her unique take on electronic, hip hop, and dance music, TOKiMONSTA—Los Angeles-based producer Jennifer Lee—since 2010 has released two full albums, multiple EPs and vinyl-only singles through highly regarded labels including Ultra Records and Flying Lotus’ Brainfeeder imprint. Her well-received 2014 mini-album Desiderium was the first release from her Young Art Records imprint, followed by last year’s You’re Invited joint EP with Gavin Turek. Her latest mini-album Fovere is Young Art’s first release of 2016 and features collaborators including Anderson .Paak, Jonny Pierce (The Drums) and Turek. While TOKi’s needle-pushing music stands on its own, her work with artists including Jessie Ware, Jesse Boykins III and Kelly Rowland, and remixes for Tinashe, Schoolboy Q and Miguel also showcase the demand for her productions and remixes.
