The last time the world heard from Australian duo Human Movement, they were riding high on their infectious sophomore EP, Dancing Room. Since the EP’s release in 2015, the pair made up of Edward MacDonald  and  Blake Gilray, have achieved some major gains that include performing slots at Australia’s leading music festival Strawberry Fields, and a string of sold-out shows across their homeland.

For their highly-anticipated return, Human Movement are returning with two-track project- the “Subcity” EP. Paying homage to the grime and darkness of the NYC underground, “Subcity” is a clear reflection of the duo’s progress and achievements as songwriters. Their maturest work to date, the EP’s title track is a hypnotic techno number that will remind listener’s of the dark melodies of Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz. The EP’s second cut, “High Hat Conversation,” revels in the pair’s affinity for punchy four on the floor rhythms and ominous builds sure to make this one a DJ set staple.

Stay tuned for more announcements, and pick up “Subcity” now as a free download via Human Movement’s label-BEHM.
