Burgeoning singer/songwriter McKail Seely has just released a video performance of the politically charged “Trespassing.” The video features a duet with fellow singer/songwriter Jesse MacLeod, and recently premiered on Impose Magazine. Fans can check the video out here.
McKail spoke about the political tone of the song: “The message of the song can be interrupted in many different ways but for me, it’s a song to provoke thoughts and ideas about our society that I think are important to speak about. There’s a lot of injustice right now in our country and I think it’s about time we take full responsibility. I hope that this song raises questions about not only what is going on in the U.S. political race but most importantly about what we truly want America to stand for.”
McKail, who is based in Los Angeles (by way of Salt Lake City), recently released the “Ride of Life” EP. “Ride of Life” features the current single “Last One” and can be purchased on iTunes here.
McKail recently stopped by local Southern California station KX Laguna to talk about the EP and perform a couple tracks. Fans can listen to the archived podcast here.
