Rising indie-rock band Heyrocco has premiered a new video for their song “Build It Up” today at AmericanSongwriter.com. The track is featured on the band’s recently released EP, Waiting On Cool, that’s out now on Dine Alone Records. Fans can purchase it now at http://geni.us/waitingoncool.

“Our video for Build It Up was calling for buildings falling and fiery explosions. Since we don’t live in LA with a big budget, we had to approach it differently. Nathan’s pen pal in Japan put on a Godzilla suit and tore down his apartment to make this video for us. Somehow within that parameter we felt there was also a statement to be made with social media obsession so we tried to tie those ideas together in a sort of end times corollary.” – Heyrocco

Heyrocco’s new EP record, Waiting On Cool was recorded with producer/songwriter/guitarist Brendan Benson of The Raconteurs. The band will be hitting the road in support of the record later this month. Dates are listed below.
