My Digital Enemy revisit DJ Zinc’s classic, ‘Super Sharp Shooter’

My Digital Enemy return to the studio to rework DJ Zinc’s drum and bass masterclass into a hard-hitting house banger. Releasing it on their own label, Zulu Records, MDE are able to exert their complete creative control on this raw, innovative re-rub and in turn, unleash a fresh version of the classic ready for today’s dance floors.

Supported by the likes of Tough Love, Michael Woods, EDX and more on the DJ circuit, there’s no surprise that BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra have championed ‘Super Sharp Shooter’ with Mistajam, DJ Target and Seani B spinning the track several times on their shows already.

With a whopping up and down, in and out bass melody taking the reins throughout, this one will hit you hard with that iconic vocal hook and a serious throwback to the 90s. There’s nowhere to hide once that hook grabs you and the fresh production gives it a thorough face lift.

Executed with funky build ups, stabbing rhythm sections and a down and dirty bassline, all you need to do is hit play and turn it up as the fresh yet familiar sounds provide the system with a welcome rinse out.

My Digital Enemy showcase their technical know-how with every release, but this one is something else – the super sharp shooters take aim and have hit yet another a bullseye.
