Zero B’s ‘Lock Up’ gets a 2016 revamp

For their latest release, Zulu are revisiting a serious dance classic and have given remixing duties to Ali Wilson, Nick Coles, Jonathan Ulysses and Sam Dungate. They’ve partnered up to put together two brand new takes on Zero B’s 90’s classic into two huge sounding house records, both of which take shape through the pumping sounds of ‘Lock Up.’

Ali Wilson and Nick Cole’s collaboration explores the iconic build-ups and melodies of the original track with a hands-in-the-air solid backbone of bass, and a keyboard hook that will have you reminiscing those long summer nights in 90s Ibiza. Bringing vintage noises into today’s dancefloors, this is the perfect way to start this duo of remixes.

House connoisseur Jonathan Ulysses joins forces with Sam Dungate for a deeper direction on the second track. A rocking bassline that will leave no groove unturned and equally – no person standing still – with memorable flashes from the Zero B classic lifting the track into a frenzy of innovative house music.

For a label that is constantly pushing the envelope when it comes to house music, this refreshing take on an Ibiza classic is the perfect start to a summer in Ibiza.
