Ryan: Your new EP “Moris Better: The Hangover” is incredibly well produced. How long did this album take to make?
J’Moris: I’ve been working on this project for about six months. It takes me about 2 months to decide on what songs I want to actually release on certain projects.
Ryan: Speaking of the EP, any idea of when we can expect a full length album?
J’Moris: Good question, I was thinking about releasing a full album after this EP. After heavy consideration, I decided to go with another EP. Something extra for my fans.
Ryan: Where do you gather your musical inspiration from?
J’Moris: I believe music is a great form of expression. I get all of my inspiration from real life events. Things that I’m going through or things that’s have already happened. The good, the bad, & the ugly. All of it is a part of me. I guess that’s why it’s never hard for me to write music. Everything I say is what I’ve been through.

Ryan: What does your song writing process look like?
J’Moris: Hahaha. Every song varies. I get a lot of motivation from the instrumental. Every beat speaks to me different. As a result, the process is different with every song. I like to zone out and draw energy from the instrumental. The rest is magic hahaha.
Ryan: Do you have any plans for a music video in the future?
J’Moris: I actually plan on releasing a few music videos really soon. One from Moris Better: The Hangover & a few from my next EP.
Ryan: At this point in your musical career, what are some of your musical highlights?
J’Moris: I think every experience is a highlight. Everything from seeing the world to writing music. I’m grateful for it all. Every experience is a blessing.
Ryan: If given the chance, is there any artist that you would like to collaborate with?
J’Moris: I would love to colab with Biggie Smalls, I was a big fam of his. As far as living artist, I think I would like to work with, Big Sean, Kanye West, & J. Cole. I think that would be a great song.

Ryan: What advice do you have to new artists looking to make their own EP?
J’Moris: The only advice I could give to anyone is to follow your heart. Never let anyone tell you what you can and can’t do.
Ryan: Are you playing any live shows currently, if so, when and where is your next show?
J’Moris: As of right now, I’m taking a small intermission from shows. I want to be able to give all my attention to this upcoming project “In Between The Lines”. It’s a different side of me. I hope the fans enjoy it.

Ryan: Lastly, and thank you for your time. Do you have any news that you would like to share with your audience?
J’Moris: No problem, I’m grateful for the opportunity. Be on the lookout for New videos coming soon. Thanks for all the love.
