Cloak & Dagger Releases New Single “Ruin”, Imminence Records Debut Due Later This Year
Perth’s Cloak & Dagger are excited to release their new single from their forthcoming Imminence Records’ debut entitled Balance. The six track EP features a rerecorded version of the band’s “Stay Gold” single along with the new single entitled “Ruin.” The EP is slated to be released later this year.
“Ruin was created from a desire I had to write something stripped back in comparison to my normal writing style. No frills or fancy ornaments, just straight up heavy and hard hitting riffs. “Conceptually, Ruin is about the apocalypse. The whole world is being torn apart and ancient monstrosities are being unearthed. Lyrically, there is a pervasive sense of helplessness and resignation to the end.
