UK collective, Clean Bandit, announce their brand new single ‘Tears’ feat. Louisa Johnson (listen here), which is now available through Spotify, iTunes and Apple Music.

‘Tears’, written by the band’s very own Jack Patterson and Roc Nation-signed Sam Romans (Naughty Boy, Alicia Keys), marks a triumphant return for Clean Bandit and sees X Factor 2015 winner, Louisa Johnson, lend her powerful vocals to the track. Speaking about the floor-filling single and their mighty collaboration, both Jack and Louisa commented:

Jack Patterson – “Tears is an epic trap-2step breakup ballad. I wrote it with Sam Romans at the piano, and over the course of a year, it has transformed from a simple piano tune into a mad beast of changing time signatures and feels. To me, Tears feels like a 1990s vision of a future breakup song. Louisa Johnson delivered the vocal with incredible power and devastating tenderness. Her adlibs are insane! She is so lovely and an absolute joy to work with.”

Louisa Johnson – “When I was approached to work with the guys from Clean Bandit I was like…YES! It felt like the perfect next step from the X Factor. I have always been a fan of their music and I think they’re so unique. It’s such a great thing to be a part of this exciting collaboration.”
