Hailing from the opulent South of France, Damien N-Drix conjures his appreciation for the finer things with expert ease. Building up a dense catalog since 2009, the Marseilles-based producer picked up the pace this past year, honing in on a funky house sound that holds its weight as much in the electro sphere as it does in deeper dwellings. His SoundCloud reveals a formidable range of productions – from remixes of Watermät & MOGUAI’s “Portland” and Jacob Plant’s “Reflections” to originals like “Do It” and the Beatport Top 20 electro hit “Ghetto Funk,” which have accrued 72K and 92K streams respectively. On top of an enviable short game, Drix has pumped out guest mixes for Fun Radio and Guru Recordings, in addition to curating his own DMSN project. With support from Chuckie, Swanky Tunes, Roger Sanchez, and fellow French fixtures like Sébastien Drums, Tristan Garner, and DJ Ralph, Damien N-Drix continues to gain traction and stretch his sound to clubs across the globe.
