GOJIRA DEBUT NEW TRACK “SILVERA”‏

Roadrunner Records group Gojira have debuted “Silvera,” the second song to be released off their anticipated new LP MAGMA.  “Silvera” is accompanied by a Drew Cox directed music video shot in New York City, which is streaming now at www.Gojira-Music.com. “Silvera” follows lead single “Stranded,” which has already garnered 1.3 Million views on the band’s official YouTube channel and charted in the Top 25 on Spotify’s US Viral 50 chart. Pre-orders for MAGMA are currently available at www.Gojira-Music.com, with all orders receiving instant grat downloads of “Stranded” and “Silvera” (album art below). MAGMA arrives everywhere June 17th.

Earlier this month Gojira announced details of a massive North American headline tour which is set to get underway this fall.  The nationwide trek will see Gojira joined by Tesseract and is set to kick-off September 21st at Silver Spring, Maryland’s The Fillmore.  From there Gojira will traverse North America through October where the tour will eventually wrap up on October 23rd at New York City’s Terminal 5 (tour itinerary below).  Tickets and VIP packages for all dates are currently on sale. Recorded at the band’s own Silver Cord Studio in Ridgewood, Queens, MAGMA is produced, mixed and engineered by Gojira. It is the first of Gojira’s albums to be recorded at Silver Cord, their new NYC headquarters which brothers Joe and Mario Duplantier began building out by hand in 2014 as detailed by Rolling StoneMAGMA has garnered “Most Anticipated” accolades from the press with Rolling Stone featuring it in their ‘25 Most Anticipated Metal Albums of 2016’ round-up.  Additionally, Decibel Magazine placed the new LP in their ‘Top 20 Anticipated Albums Of 2016’ while Consequence of Sound included it in their ‘20 Most Anticipated Metal Albums of 2016’ preview.
