Happyness reveal video for new song SB’s Truck

This May, Happyness take a break from writing new material in advance of recording their highly anticipated second album for Moshi Moshi/PIAS (and follow-up to the acclaimed 2014 debut Weird Little Birthday) as The Dandy Warhols take them out on tour across the EU and UK. Wrapping up the final dates of the EU leg this week, before beginning their UK run in Bristol this Friday May 20th, Happyness can now reveal a brand new video…

Having recently returned with their first taste of new music in 2016, in the shape of new song SB’s Truck, they now swiftly follow with – in true Happyness style – a trippy and defiantly odd accompanying video. Happyness say of the video; “We always thought it was kind of a funny idea that a cartoon person might have to turn up to a big glamorous cover shoot for a magazine like “Mad”. And that ended up fusing with a pretty vague video idea we’ve had floating around for a while about what Bob Dylan does in his green room.”

As for touring with The Dandy Warhols, Happyness say; “We’re bringing a friend of ours along to play some of the parts that we can’t play with just three people. We’ll be playing a few songs from the first record that we haven’t been able to play before, and some of the same songs a little different to how people have heard them, and some new ones. So we’re going backwards and forwards in time, and we’re excited to do it. And our friend’s name is Paul. And thanks to The Dandy Warhols for having us on tour with them!”
