ADIAN COKER RELEASE NEW SINGLE “NOTHING NEW‏”

‘Nothing New’ is the second taste of forthcoming E.P release, ‘Connect’. Having previously released ‘Aim’, a much smoother and soulful joint, ‘Nothing New’ presents the darker side to Adian Coker. Eerie, echoing  keys almost make you feel uneasy as Adian Coker instantly provokes your senses via the self-produced beat. The track whips up in to a flurry of vibes as a deep vibrating bass kicks in and the melodic hook touches down.

The one that shouldn’t of been, ‘Nothing New’ was a last minute addition to the E.P: “This song came about after I thought I’d finished the EP. One of my favourites on there. Relentless energy and vibes upon vibes.”

As one of 6 tracks to be released on the 20th May, the ‘Connect’ E.P is a very deliberate release, offering an identifiable side to Adian Coker that has been somewhat guarded in previous projects. With his deep and very conscious style, he has garnered impressive reviews and excited acknowledgment in the words of many journalists and DJ’s that are deeply embodied in the hip-hop world, giving nod’s to his ingenuity, depth and ambition, yet there’s always been an air of mystery surrounding him and his music.

‘Connect’ brings a playful charm to his music without any compromise on quality. The records ooze with eloquence and as expected, the E.P is something of a masterpiece in itself but this time it’s touchable, it’s exciting and it’s within reach.
