COIN DEBUTS NEW SINGLE “TALK TOO MUCH”‏

Nashville band COIN released their new single “Talk Too Much” today. The song was premiered on Sirius XM Alt Nation’s weekly new music show Advance Placement alongside a media premiere on Idolator. It’s the first single from the foursome since last year’s popular track “Run,” which was a heavy rotation favorite at Alt Nation and other radio platforms.

“Talk Too Much” will be available for purchase tomorrow, Friday, May 6, on all digital service music providers.

COIN Front man Chase Lawrence offered some perspective on the new song:  “We wrote ‘Talk Too Much’ on our first day writing for a new record. We just came off a two month tour playing pseudo punk songs. We wanted to slow it down to the likes of 80s new wave.  The song came easier than any other song I’ve ever written. In a few hours, we wrote a song about my inability to leave it unsaid. I’m gonna’ stop there.”

COIN’s lively brand of alt-driven pop propelled them on multiple tours last year boosted by their 10-track self-titled debut album, helmed by Grammy winning producer Jay Joyce.  In 2015, the band toured extensively, performing with Colony House, Passion Pit, Neon Trees and Walk The Moon, among many others.

COIN, who was a regular on last year’s festival circuit, including Lollapalooza, will head out on the road in support of “Talk Too Much.” They will tour all of May and June, including an appearance at the Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta, GA on May 15, and the Firefly Music Festival in Dover, DE, on June 17, 18, and 19 (see below).
