Australia’s Tired Lion share “Not My Friends,” debut EP ‘Figurine’ out 6/24 via Dew Process

Today, Perth, Australia’s Tired Lion released their first single in the U.S. “Not My Friends” premiered today via Stereogum, who said the track is an “onslaught of crunchy riffs that are buoyed by enigmatic leader Sophie Hopes’ scratchy voice.” The band has already won the hearts of Australian music fans – winning Triple J’s prestigious Unearthed Award, tearing down the main stage at Splendour In The Grass, claiming the WAMI for Best Rock Song, and supporting the likes of The 1975, Bully and more.

Tired Lion will be on tour throughout Australia, Europe and the UK where they’ll play the acclaimed Glastonbury festival this summer. Other highlights include Splendour in the Grass in Australia, Latitude Festival and Hurricane Festival in Germany.

On June 24th, Tired Lion will release their debut EP, Figurine, on Dew Process.
