Feisty electro-popstress MarieLine Premieres Video For New Track, “I Don’t Have Time For This Shit”‏

You think New Yorkers are feisty? Wait until you meet Frenchwoman-turned-New Yorker electro-pop artist MarieLine, who tells you flat out “I Don’t Have Time for this S#!t,” in her debut track and music video. As a multi-faceted woman and artist who takes control of her life, Marieline shows her tough side with her tongue-in-cheek musical rant over the frustrations of the hectic New York City lifestyle.

From France to NYC, MarieLine (sounds like Marilyn) has been around the world, literally and figuratively. She left her native city of Nice in her teens to pursue acting and modeling throughout Europe, always a notebook at hand to write down her first songs. While in Paris, the young actress fell into a role providing vocals for a beat maker.  After a stint in Los Angeles and finally settling in New York City, MarieLine channeled her breadth of life experiences, with all their joys and sorrows, into music that resonates both on a visceral and intellectual level. Her song themes range from self-esteem to anti-bullying as well as resilience in the face of hardship, always honest and unfiltered.

Be sure to make time to check out MarieLine’s latest single, “I Don’t Have Time for this S#!t,” from her upcoming electro-pop EP, due out soon. Also watch her new animated video here!
