Right On, Kid! Release & Stream New EP‏

Albuquerque pop-punkers Right On, Kid! have released their new EP. The quintet are streaming “On The Brighter Side of Things” in full via Bandcamp.

Track Listing:

1. Excuse Me If This Gets Loud

2. Contentment

3. Blackridge Drive

4. Sudden Change

5. Twice Told

Originally formed as an acoustic project in 2015 – something which still shines through in the band’s sound – Right On Kid!, take influence from pop-punk’s forefathers whilst delivering a raw, gritty and unapologetic sound, underpinned by a blend of youthful exuberance and impressive cohesion, delivered with the up-tempo energy of many of their modern contemporaries.

Already drumming up a solid reputation across both city and state, supports for the likes of Forever Came Calling, Hawthorne Heights, Handguns and Mest have only enhanced the band’s stock and 2015 saw Right On, Kid! sign to locally based label DCS Records.

This past January, the Duke City pop-punkers entered the studio with Jonathan Meis to work on their debut release. Spearheaded by debut single ‘Blackridge Drive’, Right On, Kid deliver a refreshing and untarnished slab of pop-punk and with “On The Brighter Side of Things” supply a spark to the New Mexico scene this Spring.

“On The Brighter Side of Things” is out now.
