Hi RYNO, welcome to VENTS! How have you been?

Great! Thanks so much for having me in Vents! I’m a fan!

Can you talk to us more about your latest single “Stars In The Sky”?

The overall inspiration of the song is a movement of music to bring people together.

Did any event in particular inspired you to write this song?

Actually, No, which ended up being one of my favorite parts about the song ‘Stars in the Sky’. While writing it with my bro Todd and our buddy Swift, we were all channeling a different emotion/feeling/story that inspired the lyric. That made me realize that the song was special because of how relatable it was in so many real life situations. Honesty always speaks strongest.

What led you to do a bilingual lyric video?

The song channels such a uniting feeling, we thought it was an interesting way of displaying the message.

How was the film process?

Our friend and film director, Adam Mansell really grabbed the bull by the horns here. We discussed in depth the meaning of the lyric and pieced if all together.

The single comes off your new EP The Pervade – what’s the story behind the title?

“Truth will pervade” is the lyric in SITS that ended up inspiring the EP title, ‘The Pervade’. The message meaning to Spread Truth and Positivity. #PervadePositivity

How was the recording and writing process?

I was able to pretty much produce and write the majority of the EP at my home studio. I work at a space in Midtown (EOE Studios) with one of my best buds Joey Secchiaroli (The Reign Of Kindo, Gin Wigmore) as well to do final edits/mixes. I’ve been trying to be as DIY as I can which I have really enjoyed!

How has NYC influence your music?

NYC has such an incredibly focused yet chaotic energy. That has influenced me as a person which has absolutely inspired the project!

What have you learned from your experience sharing the stage with big acts like Paul McCartney that you are putting in action on your career now?

I’ve learned that absolutely anything is possible. There are a lot of challenges to overcome in the process of expressing your passion but it’s so important too see your vision and go for it. This project exposes who I am in a lot of ways and its an incredible feeling to share.

Where did you find the inspiration for the songs and lyrics?

All over the place. The EP is full of references to life, adventure and love. The ultimate message is that anything is possible. Find your adventure, travel the world to find your love and make whatever you want with your life!

Any plans to hit the road?

-5/12 World Cafe (Wilmington, DE)

-5/17 Pianos (New York, NY)

-5/20 Off The Record Fest (Atlantic City, NJ)

What else is happening next in RYNO’s world?

Excited for ‘Stars In The Sky’ to be featured on both American Airlines “Live On American” and United Airlines “Today’s Hits” playlists this summer!
