On the final day of the first weekend of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, frontman of Third Eye Blind, Stephan Jenkins, made a special appearance with The Chainsmokers during their blistering set at the Sahara Stage this past Sunday evening. Named one of the “11 Best Moments From Coachella 2016” by Billboard, Jenkins performed Third Eye Blind’s 1997 classic “Jumper” on stage during a guest-filled Chainsmokers set that also included separate appearances by Tiesto, G-Eazy and Walk The Moon.
“I could not hear a word I was singing and it was the best feeling,” Jenkins said of the performance. “The reason I was smiling onstage as usually the audience is singing along with me and I realized I was singing along with them.” Watch video of the performance via Third Eye Blind’s Facebook page HERE.
Third Eye Blind just wrapped up a spring tour and will be making major American festival appearances throughout the summer and fall that will include Bonnaroo in Manchester, TN (June 9-12), Lollapalooza in Chicago, IL (July 28-31) and Outside Lands in San Francisco, CA (August 5-7). More headlining dates to be announced soon.
