Pulling from disparate realms of the musical universe inSaturn have revealed the mesmeric debut single ‘Lady Lion’, taken from their upcoming self-titled debut EP.
As bereaved synths rise among the haunting whispers of frontwoman Beth Cannon, ‘Lady Lion’ then erupts with an almighty operatic roar among clattering crescendos and divergent guitar chimes that float on lofty, atmospheric synths.
The mind-bending songwriting and dexterous vocal talents of inSaturn pull at melancholy heartstrings with a flair reminiscent to Kate Bush, while the beautiful post-rock soundtrack nods to the likes of Sigur Rós and Radiohead.
inSaturn paint an aural picture of otherworldly beauty, and their sonic wall pulsates live as they intertwine their sound with mesmeric visuals. The band will play their first show in London tonight, in support of the tripped-out electronics of Brighton’s Luo at The Old Blue Last.
The band have also been announced to play this summer’s festivals, and inSaturn will be appearing at The Great Escape, Festival No.6, Truck, YNOT and Together The People. More shows are due to be announced soon.
