Hands Like Houses Set to Play Bottom Lounge on May 15th | New Album ‘Dissonants’ Out Now!‏

Canberra, Australia rockers Hands Like Houses return to North America as main support for Enter Shikari on The Mindsweep Tour this week in support of their third full-length studio album Dissonants, out now via Rise Records. Kicking off on Friday, April 15th in Seattle, the trek will take the band across the US and Canada for six weeks before wrapping up with a slot at this year’s Rock on the Range in Columbus, OH on May 22nd, joining that day’s lineup alongside Deftones, At The Drive-In, Bring Me the Horizon and more.

In addition to serving as main support on The Mindsweep Tour this Spring, Hands Like Houses are thrilled to announce a handful of headlining dates throughout, including stops in Fresno, CA (4/13), Richmond, VA (5/2), Springfield, MO (5/12), and Buffalo, NY (5/20). Tickets for all shows can be purchased via http://handslikehouses.net/.

Dissonants marks Hands Like Houses’ third full-length LP and was released on February 26th, 2016 via Rise Records. Produced and mixed by James Paul Wisner (Paramore, Dashboard Confessional), Dissonants hit chart highs for the band across the globe upon its release – notably, the album debuted at #7 on Australia’s ARIA Albums chart and in the US, hit Top 10 on Billboard’s Hard Music, Independent Albums, Alternative Albums, and Rock Albums charts.

Dissonants once again shows Hands Like Houses’ commitment to crafting a set of songs that showcases both their ability to build technical, dense soundscapes and their melodic sensibilities. In a 10/10 review, Outburn heralds the band for “…travelling from shoegazing ballads to breakdowns and back again with an ease that, for a band less than a decade old, is no less than shocking.” Alternative Press echoes that sentiment: “It’s a band at their peak, fully realizing their sound as both comforting and unpredictable, familiar yet expansive– it could very well be a groundbreaking release for both the band and generations of fans to come.” The album also earned positive reviews from Kerrang!, All Music, Tone Deaf, and Rock Sound among dozens of others.

Hands Like Houses are excited to bring Dissonants to North American fans and beyond. Following their tour with Enter Shikari, the band heads to the UK and Australia to further support the release.
