Canadian country trio Runaway Angel are pleased to announce the release of their debut album “No End In Sight” – available digitally April 22nd. The album coincides with the release of a brand new single “June”, on April 18th and the recent announcement that the all-female group is one of six finalists in the 2016 CCMA Discovery Program – an initiative designed to educate and support the development of Canadian country music artists.
“No End In Sight” bursts with emotion, charming tales of chasing dreams and infectious melodies. Debut single “Run Angel Run”, produced by Jason Barry (Dean Brody, Terri Clark) evokes the feeling of fun-filled summer road trips, while second single “My Someday”, co-written with Dave Thomson (Wave), is the perfect mix of the trio’s powerhouse vocals and poignant harmonies.
Individually, Runaway Angel’s Ann Chaplin, Cadence Grace and Stacey Zegers, have toured Canada, the United States, Europe and Britain, and had their songs and music featured on CMT, Disney, Much, Degrassi High, Dawson’s Creek, Joan of Arcadia, Naturally Sadie and MTV’s The Hills.
In just over two years as a group, the trio has rocked major festival stages across Canada including Boots and Hearts and opened for country stars Dierks Bentley and Tim Hicks in addition to being highlighted by the Toronto Star as one of six greater Toronto area bands poised to breakthrough. In 2015 Runaway Angel was nominated for four Country Music Association of Ontario Awards, including Single of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Group or Duo of the Year and the Rising Star Award.
On April 22nd, Runaway Angel will celebrate the release of “No End In Sight”, with an album showcase at Toronto’s premiere country bar, Boots & Bourbon Saloon. For more information on Runaway Angel, please visit:
