Pop singer, Holly Elle has released her latest single, “Flip That Script”, a kiss-off tune for the boss chick in all of us. Framed in sensational synth hooks with a European flair, the song showcases Elle’s knack for captivating and worldly pop. “Flip That Script” is now available on iTunes.
In her latest single, “Flip That Script,” Holly Elle turns the tables musically yet again and displays her songwriting chops with universal story-telling at its finest. The song spins the tale of a woman taking the reins and putting herself in the position of power over a less than worthy lover. Putting the “cheek” in tongue-in-cheek, “Flip That Script” is a feisty pop masterpiece. Her powerful voice projects confidence and defiance as she reminds us that karma comes back around. Elle’s vocals feel rebellious, paired beautifully with the unexpected flair of an accordion, played by her father, Larry Litwiniuk. The desire to feature him on a record was the spark for the track, loosely based on a folk song she remembers hearing frequently growing up. “I like to find ways to highlight my diverse musical influences and always had it in the back of my mind that one day I would do something inspired by our Eastern European roots,” Elle states.
Holly Elle was born and raised in Alberta, Canada. Always a lover of music, she began writing songs at the tender age of 12. Hearing the R&B divas of the 90’s ignited a passion that would turn into a career. “It was always more about singing for me. I would spend hours in my room singing to Mariah Carey… practicing until I got it just right”. Even though Elle is classically trained, her love of all genres never pulls her away from the core base of pop. After being featured on a couple of Canadian compilation albums, Elle moved to Nashville to further her education. She fell in love with the city and decided to make Nashville her new home as she continues to create captivating pop music. Holly Elle has released two EP’s, Infinitude and Leopardess, as well as several singles since moving to the United States. She has shown no signs of slowing down with the release of “Flip That Script,” produced by Isaac Hasson (Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez).
“Flip That Script” is an upbeat song of liberation about shaking off negativity and always staying true to you. As empowerment and confidence are consistent themes in her work, Holly Elle crafts music that inspires her fans with a boost and a beat. Keep up with Holly Elle by visiting: HollyElle.com.
