Atmospheric hardcore newcomers THRONES release ‘Winter’ video ahead of UK tour with Values

Atmospheric hardcore quintet THRONES have announced the release of new single ‘Winter’ on 22 April and today launch their stunning video to the track.

Combining anthemic choruses and ferocious hooks, the Northamptonshire’s quintet have significantly raised their game with ‘Winter’, which provides an exciting taster of what to expect of the band’s next full release. ‘Winter’ showcases the bands talent for marrying breakdowns and with soundscapes, and abrasion with melody, to create something fresh that the underground hardcore seen desperately needs.

Vocalist Tom Fishky comments: “Winter has always been a track that holds really deep, significance to me. It was a no brainer to choose this as our second single. Director Scott Canty’s artistic direction really complimented what the track was about, the decayed structure we shot it in was perfect. We hope that people will find our music relatable to their own experiences, I think everybody just wants to be understood.”

THRONES will tour the UK for much of 2016 and are currently on the road with up and coming metallic hardcore band Values.

Make sure to catch the band on one of these dates:

30/03/2016    Montys Bar, Dunfermline
31/03/2016    Lounge 41, Workington
01/04/2016    Rewind, Wrexham
02/04/2016    Cobblestones, Bridgwater

With more tours and a full length record in the works, you’’ll be seeing a lot more of THRONES in 2016.
