Hi Adam, welcome to VENTS! How have you been?

Great. Have been working on some new songs all day. Keeping busy.

Can you talk to us more about your latest single “Only The Night”?

I’m thrilled to finally have this song out, and to have launched my project. It’s been in the works for a while, and the response has been humbling.

Did any event in particular inspired you to write this song?

I think it’s a culmination of several experiences, but the lyrics themselves are about more of a feeling. Not recklessness exactly, but something more confident – composed. It’s about feeling like your alive, and inevitably getting up to no good… Something I think everyone can relate to.

How was the film experience?

I had a great time filming the video with some of my friends. It was a lot of shooting in different locations – honestly we didn’t use half of the footage we took. But I was pleased with how it turned out. It captures a visual element that I think the song needs to be really understood.

How was the recording and writing process?

This song was born about a year ago, and re-written, and re-written again. I took my time with it because I knew it was a special song, and I wanted to deliver it in the best way possible. It feels good to have people finally hearing it.

How’s your new album coming along?

I am writing all the time, it’s a constant process for me. There are new songs done, and they will be coming soon. The vision for the first record has been in my mind for a while now, and now I’m just working towards fulfilling that vision.

Any tentative release date or title in mind?

I can’t disclose that right now, but it will have a theme, and the songs on it will all fit together in a way —- I want it to play like a movie.

Does your first single sets the tone for this album?

Yes and no. There will be happier songs, and more mellow ones too. But I think it points you in the direction of where I’m headed at least.

Any plans to hit the road?

Once there is some more music released, I’ll be starting to play live.

What else is happening next in W A N D E R E R’s world?

So much! New songs, videos, and visuals are all on the way. I have a lot that I’ve been waiting to release. Stay tuned. xo -Adam
