Imagem Music US continues to grow and develop its esteemed roster with a new publishing deal with singer/songwriter Eric Nally in partnership with RebelOne Entertainment.
No matter what he does, Eric Nally trusts his instinct. Following that quiet muse, the singer, songwriter, and performer always empowers his distinct personality to get loud. It drove Foxy Shazam to renown amongst peers and fans during their decade-long career, and it bristles through 2015’s “Downtown”-his RIAA gold-certified collaboration with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. Everything paved the way for the inevitable start of his solo career.
His first solo musical statement came together around the world-quite literally. In addition to sessions in Switzerland with producer Horncliffe, he would cut tracks in different studios across the U.S. with producer and musician Budo on days off from 2016’s An Evening With Macklemore & Ryan Lewis tour. This vision materialized with an unpredictable, unfettered, and undeniable sense of wonder characteristic of Eric. “I feel like genres are limitations or boxes you can put yourself into,” Nally admits. “When I’m making music, I don’t think of it in terms of genre. I think in terms of how I’m feeling and what I want to say. I want to say things that are important and fun for people to hear. It’s completely boundless. I hope that wakes something up inside the listener.”
“Eric’s unending dedication to his craft and creating compelling songs makes him a perfect fit for the spirit of Imagem,” said Jason Jordan, President of Imagem Music US. “We’re excited to begin working with him through the relationship with RebelOne, and further developing his exciting career.”
“Eric is truly a special artist. He’s already had an impressive career but we feel he’s only begun to scratch the surface of his talents,” said Marc Jordan, Principal of RebelOne. “We’re happy to have him join our growing family.”
