Chicago 4-piece Monakr remixes iconic Ace Of Base hit “Don’t Turn Around”‏

Chicago based act Monakr have followed up their excellent debut EP with a cover/remix of Ace of Base’s classic – Don’t Turn Around.

The 4-piece put a modern, upbeat spin on the iconic hit, with vocalist two-time grammy nominated vocalist Matthew Santos lending his deep, pop leaning vocals to what can be described as your next favorite dance track.

Says MONAKR regarding motivation for the track:
“Ace of Base had some really melancholy and thoughtful lyrics that got lost for us in the catchy pop production. We wanted to take a slightly darker pass at it, and this remix was born.”

MONAKR are currently working on a full length album, to be released mid / end 2016.
