IRATION announces massive Southern California summer tour dates; spring “Hotting Up Tour 2016” kicks off March 30‏

As IRATION gears up for their spring “Hotting Up Tour” to kick off later this month, the reggae-influenced alternative rock band has announced a handful of massive Southern California summer appearances. On Friday, June 3, the Hawaiian-bred, Santa Barbara-based group will headline KJEE’s 12th Annual Summer Round-Up concert at the Santa Barbara Bowl. Tickets for KJEE’s Summer Round-Up–also featuring sets from Fitz and the Tantrums, Wolfmother and The Strumbellas plus a special guest–go on sale this Saturday, March 12 at 11am PST here. IRATION previously performed at the annual event in 2009 and 2010, but their return this year will mark the band’s first time headlining the hometown festival as well as the beautiful Santa Barbara Bowl. On Sunday, June 5, IRATION will head south to San Diego to perform at 91X’s annual X-Fest concert at the Sleep Train Amphitheatre, where they previously appeared in 2014. Tickets for 91X X-Fest-co-headlined by Cheap Trick and The Offspring, with Kongos, Wolfmother, Chevy Metal and more-go on sale this Friday, March 11 at 10am PST here.

In addition to the June radio show appearances, IRATION also announced their return to the Pacific Amphitheater at the OC Fair in Costa Mesa, CA. For 2016-the band’s fourth annual summer at the venue-IRATION will headline back-to-back nights at the approximately 7,750 capacity amphitheater Saturday, July 9 (with support from Rebel Souljahz, Katastro and The Steppas) and Sunday, July 10 (with support from Collie Buddz, The Expanders and Seedless). Presented by KROQ, tickets for both OC shows go on sale Saturday, March 12 at 10am PST for the general public (with presales available Wednesday, March 9 and Thursday, March 10) via ticketmaster.com.

The road warriors recently wrapped a 19-date winter run of dates, which included the “Hawaiian Punch Winter Tour 2016”–a co-headlining outing with fellow Hawaiians Pepper–and will kick off their “Hotting Up Tour 2016” on March 30 in Lawrence, KS. The upcoming headlining spring dates-featuring support from Hirie, The Expanders and Amp Live (on select dates)-take the band to the Midwest and along the eastern seaboard before wrapping April 23 in Pensacola, FL Tickets and select VIP meet & greet packages are available now via the band’s website.

IRATIONMicah Pueschel (lead vocals/guitar), Adam Taylor (bass), Joseph Dickens (drums), Cayson Peterson (keyboard/synth), and Micah Brown (guitar/vocals)–continues to tour in support of their latest full-length album HOTTING UP, released last year via Three Prong Records/Caroline.
