Mumford & Sons Announce Limited Edition 7″ Collaboration With Baaba Maal and the Very Best For Record Store Day‏

Mumford & Sons are pleased to announce the release of ‘There Will Be Time’, a collaboration with Baaba Maal and the Very Best, as a limited edition 7″ for Record Store Day this year.

There Will Be Time was previously a South Africa only release to coincide with the band’s historic debut tour of the country at the beginning of 2016. The track debuted at number 1 in South Africa as Mumford & Sons’ first chart-topping single.

The limted edition 7″ single will be available to purchase on Record Store Day on the 16th April. For further information on RSD and a full list of stockists, please visit: www.recordstoreday.com

The South African tour, which called at sold-out shows in Cape Town, Durban, and Pretoria, found the band performing to over 85,000 fans. There Will Be Time was then performed for the first time live over the six live dates alongside Senegal’s most respected musician, Baaba Maal.  Both artists, along with The Very Best and Cape Town’s own Beatenberg, spent some quality downtime in a Johannesburg studio together in February, with the fruits of those sessions to be announced imminently.

There Will Be Time also marks the first new music from Mumford & Sons since their third album, Wilder Mind, was released in Spring 2015.

Mumford & Sons tour South America later this week, and will return to North America in April for The Arrow Through The Heartland Tour.
