T.O.L.D. (@itistold) Release “Nostalgic VHS”-style video

T.O.L.D. has released a new music video for their single “Return Forever”. Watch here.

T.O.L.D. (aka Dan Smith) wrote the song with Jas from Simian Mobile Disco, while spending a day in London fooling around with synths and drum machines. Three years later, having been mixed by Peter Katis (Interpol, San Fermin, Kurt Vile), what Dan Smith (T.O.L.D.) calls a “Nietzchean dance song” emerged from a studio in Echo Park.

“Dan (T.O.L.D.) and I talked a lot about the cycle of life & death. When I was looking for inspiration in the song I kept coming back to TV’s; they’re little boxes of life and death (to a degree),” says artist/director Vlad Sepetov (Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Vic Mensa) on the “Return Forever” video he directed for 25-year-old British transplant to Los Angeles, T.O.L.D.
