Lazy Habits Release New Video

As anticipation intensifies for the release of their second album The Atrocity Exhibition, the jazz & soul, hip-hop underground catalystsLazy Habits have released the video for their third single from the album. Watch here.

Following up from the highly regarded single “The Breach” which hit over 150k views on youtube, Left 2 (Ruins) pushes more boundaries musically and visually which requires vocalist MC Lazy to bring his A game. The slick rhythms infused with the infectious hooks above the catchy brass, epitomises what the band are about and how far they have come since their debut album. The lyrical content delves into the fickle reality of what the music business can offer, while the retro style video transports you into “colour feast” of nostalgia.

The six-piece are about to embark on their second Asia tour before heading out on tour across the UK, and they won’t be stopping anytime soon. Over the years the band have notched up shows at legendary venues that included Shepherd’s Bush Empire, The Roundhouse and KOKO as well as successfully selling out Jazz Café and the 100 Club. They have previously supportedMosDef, Young Blood Brass, The Apples, Soulwax, The Specials, Bonobo, Public Service Broadcasting, and Kid Koala. The band are becoming veterans of the festival circuit as well, with a series of main stage shows at Standon Calling, Beach Break, and Wilderness joining memorable appearances at Glastonbury, Bestival, Secret Garden Party, Boomtown Festival and Edinburgh Festival. Recently they have also been a part of the ever-growingSofar Sounds, hosting their own events and playing alongside the likes of Reeps Ones and Solomon O.B.
