FRED FALKE ‘It’s A Memory’ Remix EP Featuring Oliver, Amtrac, Chrome Sparks And More Out Now‏

In late 2015, French musician and producer FRED FALKE released the ALPHA EP (Pantheon Musique), his first batch of new music in more than four years. With FALKE handling bass, keyboard and programming duties, it is an infectious showcase of his eclecticism including “It’s A Memory,” a gentle sing-along pop number featuring Los Angeles indie rockers Elohim and Mansions On The Moon. Today the French Touch pioneer’s IT’S A MEMORY remix EP is now available–a collection of remixes by Oliver, Chrome Sparks, Amtrac, Ferdinand Weber and more.

Also available now via Vevo is the “It’s A Memory” video with a Tarantino-style story line continuation from the ALPHA EP’s first single “Radio Days.”  Directed by Jérôme Bernard, the clip-which made its premiere earlier this week via Pitchfork— follows the pursuit of a rogue piece of Fred Falke vinyl that gets bigger and bigger as it rolls through rural California and then topples off a seaside cliff.
