Turin, Italy-based symphonic gothic metal band, Misteyes, have released an official video for “The Prey”, from their debut album Creeping Time, due out on April 8th via Canadian label Maple MetalRecords. “The Prey” will be included in digital pre-orders starting on March 11th. The clip features video footage from the recordings of the album at Alarm Studio, and was produced by the band.
Misteyes describe themselves as “light and dark metal”. Their debut album Creeping Time consists of 12 songs, with the finalized tracklisting and album cover art to be revealed shortly.
Misteyes have also revealed the names of a few special guests that appear on Creeping Time: Björn “Speed” Strid (singer of Soilwork) vocal parts on the track “Decapitated Rose”, Nicole Ansperger (ex-Eluveitie) violin on the track “Winter’s Judgment”, and Roberto Pasolini (singer of Embryo) backing vocals on the song “The Demon Of Fear”.
Misteyes have shared the stage with such acts as Arcturus, Cadaveria, Opera IX, Whyzdom, and Rublood, as well as performing at some Metal Festivals in their home country of Italy. The band will be touring Italy, and Europe in support of their new album, with the dates and locations to be announced.
